Wedding

We also have a wedding to go to this year. I wanted to do something a little different for my friend so thought I'd get some early use out of Prom Tilda. (Bought her in advance of my 2 girls attending their school proms, although the first of them won't be for 3-4 years time lol.)

I had a DCWV wedding pad sitting doing nothing so thought it ideal for the job. Used the C/S, paper and s/a alphabet. Tilda is coloured with promarkers. Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts, paper flower and punched leaves. Added stickles to Tilda's tiara, gloves and lace trim. The whole thing is finished off with a gold sheen from my perfect pearls.   Now to get it delivered.

Used most of the rest of the pad to make he and her new DH an 8 x 8" wedding album too with room for a few honeymoon photos. All they have to do is chose some photos and add them to the mat ready for them.

Christening

Christening card this time. My Great niece Amelie is being christened in August so I made this acceptance card to say we will be attending.

Papes and d/c alphabet  from the same Colorbok pad as for the naming ceremony card. Bazzill C/S. Papermania silk daisy with a rose centre and punched leaves. Image is Tilda with baby Tingla from Magnolia.

Naming Ceremony

Yay, I can play today. I think maybe my friend was right that it was sulking after all my non activity. Lol.

Anyway here is a card I made as an acceptance to a naming ceremony we are going to. It is for the twins born ot my nephew and his GF. Papers and die cut alphabet are out of a Colorbok pad, flower is a Papermania one I think with a rose in the centre and punched leaves. Pearls are Prima. Image is a Sugar Nellie.

Valentine card time

DH is a funny thing when it comes to Valentine's day. As a relatively 'old married couple' now he doesn't see the point. Then every so often he surprises me and I get card, flowers, chocs .... (must admit that is a bit of a rarity lol.)
Well this year I have made him a card. I based it on a card or 2 in my lovely Magnolia Ink magazine, bit of a mix between the 2 cards lol.
Paper is Two Scoops BG, prima flowers with 2 rosebud centres, BG alphabet sticker, ovals cut on my scalloped and plain nesties and the hearts are a metal silver heart with a red heart brad centre. Tilda coloured with a mix of copics (fleshy bits) and watercolours. Well I don't have many copics lol.
Now should I make him a card to send to me ?????

Yoo hoo I'm back

In the end I didn't like the card I had made for the twins arrival (or the ones I had left from my slae last year) so had a go at this easel card.

Papers are B G sugared. I used my labels nesties to mount Tilda with baby Tingla and Cool Edwin on. Prima flowers with a rose bud added to one and pearls for the centre of the other.

Had to have just the one baby in the stamped image as I don't have one with two on. Does anybody do stamps with twins in mind ????
The card stays open by resting against a line of s/a pearls inside the card.
Forgot to say that the twins arrived last Friday. One of each kind lol. Sadie and Tyler. Tyler, 2 mins older and 1lb 4oz heavier than his little sister Sadie. Only seen a photo of them via my mobile phone so far and not sure when we will get to meet them yet.

Baby card time

My nephew and his G F are expecting twins this year. (More Great Nephew / Nieces? for me to add to the growing list!!!!!) I decided to make a couple of cards in readiness for their happy event. I pieced together a couple of my Magnolia stamps and like the results. (That's a result believe me, lol.) Haven't managed to take a photo yet as the light was fading, so I will take it tomorrow and add it here then. Felt good to be crafting again after the Christmas holidays. I am aiming to visit my blog more often this year ..... and blog hop round too. Been a bad hopper :-(
