More cards to try to sell. Papers are all Basic Grey from a variety of collections. Rub ons too are B G. Flowers are Primas. Sentiments are from my friend Karen. Also used various ribbons and brads from stash.

Thank You

When I left my old job (almost a month ago already) I received a craft voucher for the nearby farm - it has craft supplies on sale in addition to the fruit and veg they grow. This was the card I sent to work to say thank you for their gift.

New baby

We have a new baby in the family. My niece gave birth to her baby daughter Amelie last Friday. Haven't see her yet but we are hoping to on the next trip to see fmaily in Brighton.

Here are the cards I made to send to Amelie's big brother Jake and to my niece and her partner.

Papers are Basic Grey Sugared. Images are Magnolias. Bazzill Bling on the new baby card to make it pop, the circle sentiment is from my friend Karen and to finish it off a cute baby face button and baby faced ribbon.

Paper is from Basic Grey Boxer, images are from the Girls About Town downloads from Charmed Cards and Crafts and are coloured in with my Marvy Le Plume pens, flowers are a mix of Prima and Hero Arts and the stamped sentiment is from Papermania.

For the boys

These are the male cards I've made to date. A lot less embellishments and no flowers. Hmmm must find something else to put on men and boys cards.

Papers are a mix of Basic Grey and the new Daisy and Dandelion Papers from Papermania. Stamped sentiments are the new Clare Curd Signature range, circle sentiments are again free downloads from Karen's blog.

A whole pack of cards

I have been a very busy bee this week. Card making has taken a new turn for me and I am going to have a go at selling them. *eek* Will anyone buy them ???? I hope so.

These are my so far made cards for ladies. Most or all of the papers are Basic Grey. Flowers are Primas. Circle sentiments are free downloads from my friend Karen's blog. Other bits and bobs were used in the making of these cards too.

I have also managed to make some cards that I am hoping to start selling (if the shop I am going to will help me that is), but I haven't scanned or photographed them yet. So they will follow soon.

In addition I have finally got back to scrapbooking. Yay!!! I began using the lovely Cosmo Cricket set I bought last year but only got at Christmas time as a pressie from my DH. I have also managed 6 x 12" LOs last yar. Once again I haven't scanned or taken photos of them yet.

Good reason for that in both cases. The camera has flat batteries and I have no more until the shopping arrives tomorrow. Oh well. I should be able to post those items in the next day or so. (But don't hold me to it lol.)

As promised

Why is it that when my DD1's friends have a birthday she comes to me for a card. ???? Well no more she has been let loose on the world of cardmaking so this is the last card I will be making for her to use. B G paper and Prima Hydrangea flowers. Image is hopeless Tilda and was so like the girl this card was made for that we had to use it. Again not the best light ot photo this card.

I've been awol again haven't I. I have been crafting though and have made lots of things. (Including christmas cards !!!!) Need to get some things photographed and then I can upload some bits for you to see. It's half term next week so I have plenty of time coming up, well for a while. Lol.

Recent cards

I have been a bad blogger and have also had trouble uploading my work again. It's sorted now so here are a few of the many birthday cards I have made since last posting. Most of them are Magnolia stamps, either Tilda or Edwin, and use Basic Grey papers. Flowers are usually Prima or Imaginisce

Baby card

I have a new Great Niece who arrived safely last Wednesday. Haven't got to see her yet as we haven't been to Brighton since she was born but hoping for Dec 6th and a nice cuddle with her.

Anyway here is the card I made to celebrate her arrival. Papers are K & Co, alphabet BG Oh Baby and stamps are Magnolias - Tilda with baby Tingla and Graffiti Edwin.

£2 challenge

Craft Diner has a challenge on (by Jill from Jilly beans) to create something using just cardstock NO patterened paper *eek*. You can use stamps and ink, glitter but no brads, metal embellishments or ribbon.

Here is my attempt in the form of a 12" x 12" LO. I used 4 sheets of Papermania textured cardstock. From it I made a double sheeted background then with 2 further contrasting colours I die cut flowers, butterflies and letters on my Big Shot. I also embossed a piece using my Cuttlebug embossing plate - stylised flowers. I pieced the butterflies together to add colour to each of them and the smae with some of the flowers.

The cardstock works out to 22p a sheet so this LO cost just 88pence !!!! Photos are from our holiday in April at Disneyland Resort Paris. The black sky was just before the heavens opened on our last day.

The girls love Christmas. They decorated the tree all on their own last year. (Most of the decorations went on and all the tinsel !!)

These photos are again taken in Florida. They do celebrations so well !!
